Buddha Dharma Translation Teams (BDTTs)

緣起:藉由中英文雙語翻譯和口譯來學習以漢傳為主的佛法。

Background: BDTTs are established for the sole purpose of learning Chinese and English translation and interpretation using mainly Chinese Buddhism texts.

目的: 為了培養更多口譯和翻譯佛法人才，翻譯漢英雙語之佛法資料，讓只懂英文的人也有機會接觸到漢傳佛法。

Goals: The three goals of the BDTTs are to train interpreters and translators of Buddhism; translate materials about Buddhism into Chinese and English; give native English speakers the opportunity to learn about Chinese Buddhism.

內容: 藉由影音和文字途徑,您可以選擇適合自己英文程度的課程：

Content: You are welcome to choose workshop materials in multimedia and written format that best suit your level:

1.  基礎英漢翻譯。

Basic translation

2.  佛經與法會儀規。

Buddhist sutras and Dharma ceremony liturgy

3.  以英文為母語者感興趣的佛教專題：業力、投胎轉世、佛教宇宙論、戒律等等。

Buddhist topics which native English speakers are interested in for example: karma, rebirth, Buddhist cosmology, precepts, etc.

4.  口譯：佛教開示。

Interpretation: Chinese Lectures on Buddhism
